Word of the Day2

I’ve seen this word used in many instances, but I still believe that it is an important word to add to your vocabulary:

BENIGN

Adjective; having no significant effect; harmless

My example sentence is: While we were painting the house, our carbon monoxide alarm went off, but the fire department told us the the fumes were benign and that we were safe to reenter our house.
