Math Problem of the Week- September 5th

Here is this week’s math problem for you to solve!

Math Problem 10

Use the figure above to give a solution set for each inequality. REMEMBER- a solution set is a list of several numbers that could take the place of a varaible. Stuck? Need to check your answers? Click “Continue Reading” below!

Thanks for reading!

For the first one, the numbers that could be part of the solution set are 4,3,2,1, and so on.

For the second one, only the numbers 1 and 2 could fit in the solution set. After adding 1.50, you would then add 2.40m, and since you can only multiply 1 and 2 for “m” to solve the inequality, the value of “m” could be either 1 or 2.
